FREEDOM
Most people in the Western world take their freedom for granted.
They wake up in a free country. They say what they want. They believe what they want. They travel where they want. And they never think about it. To them, freedom is like air. It is just there.
But look around. Free speech is under pressure. Surveillance spreads through legislation like Chat Control. People lose their jobs for saying the wrong thing. Women no longer dare to walk home alone in neighborhoods where they used to feel safe. Jews hide their Star of David in European cities in 2026.
Then look at the Middle East. See how political Islam is law in country after country - all except Israel.
See what it has done to the human being. Women without rights. Gay men hanged from cranes. Critics imprisoned, flogged, executed. Christians persecuted, driven out of lands where they lived for two thousand years - long before Islam existed. Freedom of faith replaced by faith under force.
Notice, at the same time, how we have allowed it to infiltrate our own world for decades. More and more. Mosque by mosque. Demand by demand. Law by law.
While some of ‘our own’ march side by side with the Islamists in our streets, supporting terror organizations - in solidarity with regimes where they themselves would be jailed for the very demonstration they are marching in.
The Iranians say it. The Israelis say it. Those who have lived under political Islam warn us again and again: You are naive if you think it will not reach you too. They know the pattern. They have seen it before. We answer with tolerance for the intolerant.
All of this is happening while most people believe freedom simply continues on its own.
It does not!
Freedom is not a natural state. Freedom is an exception in human history. It was fought for over centuries. Paid for with blood, courage and sacrifice. And it disappears in exactly the same way it was won … through human action. Or the lack of it.
Passivity is not neutral. Passivity is a decision. Every generation that fails to defend freedom hands less of it to the next.
Freedom is something you must constantly work to preserve and defend. It requires awake people. People who speak up. People who stand firm no matter what it costs them.
Freedom must be the highest value of the Western world. Not comfort. Not safety. FREEDOM!
Because the day you discover it is gone, it is too late to fight for it.🪽
