I'm Christian. That means Jesus is my King.
Jesus was Jewish. His mother was Jewish. His disciples were Jewish. My Christian faith is rooted in the Jewish tradition.
Today, October 7, I stand with Israel and the Jewish people - with their right to live in safety in their ancestral homeland, and with Israel's right to exist. Just as I do every other day.
May all the victims rest in peace. May their families, their loved ones, and all Israelis carrying the pain of that day find comfort, strength, and healing. May those still living with trauma know they are not forgotten.
The barbaric Hamas terrorists who murdered, tortured, raped, and kidnapped innocent people must never be celebrated as heroes. No cause justifies those atrocities. No slogan erases them.
As a Christian, I refuse to look away. I refuse to remain silent while Jews are threatened, hunted, or murdered simply for being Jewish - whether in Israel, here in the West, or anywhere else in the world.
We will never forget October 7, 2023. We will never forget the horrors of 1943.
My home is always open for you. If you ever need shelter from the darkness, come.
I love you so much.
Am Yisrael Chai. 🇮🇱
