The left is digging the West's grave.
What is happening in Iran and Israel is not a distant conflict on another continent. It is a preview of something we already have here at home.
Iranians have lived under an Islamist regime for over 45 years. They know exactly what happens when a religious ideology takes control of the law, the women, the schools and the courts.
Many have fled. Others sit in prison or have been killed for wanting to live freely. Israelis live every day with an ideology that has made their annihilation a stated goal.
For decades the West opened its doors and refused to set any requirements for what came in with it. Criticism was labeled hateful, and those who pointed to the problems were made the problem.
I am talking about political Islam, which has a goal that reaches beyond the borders of any one nation.
The ideology does not stop at the border. It never has.
At the same time we have useful idiots working against our own foundation. They are doing Islam's bidding. They feed Jew hatred in the West while shouting pro-Palestine. Exactly like the useful idiots in Iran in 1979.
The left, the liberals and the intellectuals helped bring the revolution to power. Once the regime finally had it, they were no longer useful. Then they were imprisoned and liquidated.
To believe it cannot happen in the West is naive. It is only a matter of time.
And if you are not here to see it when that time comes, your children and grandchildren will be. Is that what you want to hand them?
If the answer is never in a million years, now is a good time to stand up and create the counterforce needed to stop it.
