They want a woman to shrink herself and fit into their frame.
A woman is subject to no one and belongs to no one. She is made in the image of God. Holy. Untouchable. Free. I was made free and even naked. Shame came only with Adam and Eve.
And to those already lining up to say a Christian woman doesn’t represent God when she shows herself in a bikini: shame over the body was never God’s idea. It is yours. I am not carrying it.
When someone hints that a woman should make herself smaller, I rise up and make us bigger. That is the intention. See if you can handle that. If not, the problem isn’t me - or any other woman.
