The tone follows the matter.
When the subject is dead serious, I don't stand there smiling. I don't wrap it up nicely, and I don't spend the time making room for everyone so no one feels touched by it.
You don't cry while telling a joke. You don't laugh at a funeral. Everything in its own time.
I am a woman who contains all of it. Hardness and softness. Laughter and gravity. Anger and tenderness. Sensuality and discipline. So does every other human being. The difference is that most people pick one side and put the rest away, instead of embracing all of it and putting it to work for themselves and for the world.
I don't hold back. I unfold everything I was given. That was the intent behind my creation, and I will not be left holding anything unused.
What I am speaking about is a civilization that has forgotten its own foundation. People losing the ability to tell true from false, who won't notice until they have to protect something they love and find themselves empty-handed. That is not a subject you deliver with a smile.
It doesn't come from anger. It comes from surrender.
I am a woman of God. A daughter of God. Surrender means I don't get to pick the tone. I don't pick the version of myself that is easiest to like. It has cost me. I say it anyway, in the form it was given.
Hate wants to destroy. I want to warn. Those are two different things, and the difference is visible to anyone willing to look.
Seriousness demands seriousness. The rest is politeness, and politeness has never saved anyone. Not a person, and not a civilization.🪽
