You must have been living under a rock, or be hopelessly naive, if you still do not understand that what is happening in our countries, in our time, is deeply serious and will have massive consequences if nothing changes.
Believing "it will probably be fine" or "it is not that bad" is not just naive. It is downright irresponsible.
History is full of people who thought it would pass on its own. It did not. It never does. Change only comes when ordinary people stand up and speak.
