From the River to the Sea. Translated

From the River to the Sea. Translated.

It's chanted on campuses and in the streets of Western cities as if it were a message of peace. Most of the people chanting it have never bothered to find out what it means.

The river is the Jordan. The sea is the Mediterranean. Between the two lies Israel. All of Israel. A Palestine from the river to the sea is a Palestine without Israel and without Israelis.

Take it from Hamas itself. In its 2017 political document, it rejects any alternative to the full liberation of Palestine "from the river to the sea." Translated from terrorist: Israel has to go. October 7 showed us what that looks like in practice.

I can understand the Islamists who hate Jews and Israel chanting it. They mean it. They've never hidden it.

But imagine how dumb you have to be as a Western citizen to buy into that premise. You live in a society with free speech, women's rights, pride parades and the rule of law. And then you march shoulder to shoulder with people who would imprison you, or worse, for exactly those things.

"Useful idiot" didn't come out of nowhere. It exists because that's exactly what you are.

Hamas thanks you for your service. The rest of us despise you.
