I’ve noticed something. It doesn’t matter what you post. If it’s about the Middle East or something with nothing to do with the Middle East at all.
Within hours the same people arrive with the same handful of lines. And it’s worth pulling them apart one by one, because stacked together they’re built to overwhelm you. Separated, each one falls on its own.
Baby killer.” Thrown at anyone who won’t repeat their lines, no matter what they actually said. It isn’t an argument. It isn’t said to be true. It’s said to shut you up.
“You support genocide.” Say it back to them with the numbers. Months of war, and the claim is that a modern military which controls the airspace, the borders and the power supply is carrying out a genocide, yet it hasn’t killed even a fraction of the population. If genocide were the intent, it would not take years, it would take days.
The word is being used precisely because it’s the heaviest one available, not because it fits. A real genocide doesn’t have to be argued into existence. You can see it. This one has to be insisted on, because the reality doesn’t match the word.
“Zionist.” Used as a slur by people who, when you ask them, cannot tell you what it means. It just means the belief that Jews, like every other people, have a right to a homeland. That’s the whole definition. They spit the word without knowing it, which tells you it was handed to them, not thought through.
“Epstein.” Dropped into threads that have nothing to do with him, because it sounds dark and needs no evidence. A name used as a smear precisely because you can’t argue with it.
“Israelis spit on Christians.” This one is the perfect example of how they work. There have been real cases of a small group of extremist settlers harassing clergy in Jerusalem, and the Israeli state itself has publicly condemned it. So they take the act of a tiny fringe, something the country itself denounced, and present it as though every Israeli does it.
The truth is the opposite. Most Israelis hold Christians in high regard, Christian Arabs are visible and respected in Israeli public life, and Israel is the one country in the region where the Christian population is safe and growing rather than being driven out. That’s not reporting they’re doing. That’s the machinery of the lie in one move: take a fragment, strip the context, and smear it across an entire people.
And then the real conspiracy, the ancient one.
“The Jews control the whole world.” “The Jews must be removed because they hold the power.” Say that last one slowly and hear what it actually is. That is not criticism of a government. It is a call to erase a people, and it is the same lie that has been recycled for centuries in whatever costume the decade offers. Every time a society goes hunting for one hidden hand to blame for everything, it ends in the same place. History already wrote down where.
And here is where they contradict themselves. They insist “this isn’t about Jews, it’s only about Israel.”
Then explain the swastikas being carried through our streets in the West. Explain why antisemitic attacks and killings have surged across Europe and America since October 7. Explain why Jewish schools and synagogues here, thousands of miles from Gaza, now need armed protection. Explain why Jews in our own cities are once again afraid to be visibly Jewish.
If this were only about a government’s policy, none of that would follow. It follows because for a certain crowd it was never only about Israel. Israel is just the permission slip.
And the founding lie underneath all of it: “Israel came and stole Palestine and threw the people out. Palestine didn’t start anything.” The truth is older and simpler. Jews have lived in this land for thousands of years. They were among the very first peoples there, long before the Arab conquests, long before Islam existed. They never fully left. And in 1947, when a plan was put forward to divide the land into two states, one for Jews and one for Arabs, the Jewish leadership said yes. They were ready to live side by side. It was the Arab and Palestinian leadership who said no, rejected it outright, and in 1948 five Arab armies marched in to destroy the new state at birth.
The war they blame on Israel is the war their own side chose to start. And if destruction were truly Israel’s goal, the imbalance in power means it could have been done long ago. That it hasn’t tells you everything about which side has been aiming at survival and which at annihilation.
Now the part they can never answer. Hamas didn’t arm itself. It has been funded and equipped for years by Qatar and Iran. Israel’s own security service found that the money flowing from those two is a central reason Hamas could build the force it used on October 7.
So when these accounts cheer “resistance,” this is what they’re cheering: a group financed by two of the most repressive regimes on earth, that spends aid money on rockets and tunnels instead of on the people it claims to fight for. Even much of the Arab world keeps that movement at arm’s length, because they’ve seen exactly what it brings wherever it takes hold.
And this is the hypocrisy at the centre of it. They march believing they’re defending the people of Gaza. But the people of Gaza are not free. They live under Hamas, a dictatorship that took their own population hostage long before this war, that steals their aid, executes its critics, and hides its weapons behind their children. The Gazans are prisoners of the very group these marchers celebrate. So they aren’t standing with the people. They’re standing with the jailer, and calling it compassion.
Here is the line that cuts through all of it. If Gaza laid down its weapons tomorrow, there would be peace. If Israel laid down its weapons tomorrow, there would be no Israel. Everything else is noise around that single fact.
And notice what drives each side. Those marching against Israel are moved by hatred, you can hear it in what they chant. Those standing with Israel are moved by love, for a people that simply wants to exist, and to live in peace beside neighbours who have refused, again and again, to let it. That difference tells you which side you’re actually looking at. Light and darkness.
That’s why they never bring an argument. They bring a pile - the slur, the clip, the ancient lie, all tipped out at once so nobody has time to sort the one grain of fact from the ton of poison around it. But we have time. And once you sort them, there’s almost nothing left.
So this is my call to everyone still capable of thinking for themselves. Describe reality as it actually is. Learn the real history, say it plainly, and refuse to let it be rewritten. Because the lies being repeated now are the same lies that have led, again and again, to the same horror.
History repeats itself for exactly one reason: because enough people let the truth go quiet. Don’t let it go quiet. Say what is real, and keep saying it. Thank you for your attention to this VERY important matter.❤️🔥🪽✝️
