They are done with a government that will not defend the border. On July 30 and 31, more than 70,000 Moroccans entered Ceuta, mostly young men between 15 and 25. A police report points to advance planning, and to Moroccan officers helping organise the routes.
In the streets they chanted: “This is invasion, not immigration.” “Ceuta is not for sale, Ceuta is defended.” “Sánchez, traitor, resign.”
A people who say it this clearly do not go quiet again.
