The Western civilization - which is the greatest model of a free society the world has ever seen - didn’t just happen.
People built it. People fought for it. People died for it. And if we want to keep it, we have to be willing to defend it.
Somewhere along the way, we forgot that.
We raised generations to believe that freedom is simply the natural state of the world. That democracy is guaranteed. That freedom of speech, equality before the law, religious liberty, individual rights and the freedom to choose your own life will somehow always be there.
They won’t.
Freedom is not the default. History should have taught us that.
Every freedom we enjoy today exists because somebody before us had the courage to fight for it, protect it and pass it on.
Is Western civilization perfect?
Of course not. Nothing created by human beings ever will be.
But show me another civilization that has done more to protect the rights of the individual, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, equality before the law and the right to determine your own future.
And yet somehow, we’ve reached a point where defending our own civilization is treated like something we should apologize for.
I refuse to do that!
We’ve confused tolerance with surrender. We’ve confused compassion with having no boundaries.
And we’ve confused freedom of religion with an obligation to accommodate religious doctrines that fundamentally conflict with the freedoms that made religious liberty possible in the first place.
No!
You want to believe in God? Believe. You want to pray? Pray. You want to practice your faith Practice it.
That is freedom.
But no religion, no ideology and no movement gets to stand above the law. And no religious legal system gets to replace the democratic law of a free country.
That line should not be controversial.
When any political or religious ideology seeks the power to dismantle the principles of a free society and replace them with its own rules, that society has every right - and every responsibility - to say:
Not here. Not on our watch!
And yes, that includes political Islam and attempts to establish Sharia as a competing source of political or legal authority.
This isn’t ‘islamophobic’ or ‘discrimination. It’s loving freedom enough to defend it.
Because civilizations can fall. Rights can disappear. And freedom can be lost when the people who inherit it become too comfortable, too afraid or too ashamed to defend the principles that created it.
So it’s time for the West to remember who we are. Teach our children what they inherited. Protect what generations before us fought to build.
Draw the line where the line needs to be drawn. And stop apologizing for believing that our freedom is worth defending.
Our freedom is NOT negotiable! Our civilization is NOT something we should be ashamed of.
It’s time to clean house. It’s time to stand our ground. And it’s time for Western civilization to rise again.
Walk with me!
With God above us, truth within us, and courage before us.
For our descendants. For the legacy we leave behind. And for the civilization we were entrusted to protect.❤️🔥🪽
