The difference between light and darkness is that light is carried by love, and darkness is carried by hate.
Neither can be hidden. Because energy never lies. What goes on inside will show on the outside. To keep the light on, you must be and do the opposite of what darkness does. And that is to be driven by the heart. By love. Instead of hate and revenge.
The more who rise into the light, the more it wins over the darkness. That is how darkness dies. You shine it to death while you raise your voice and call out the lie.
And let us be honest about who we are up against. These are not just lost people. These are people who have chosen the darkness because it serves them.
They lie in cold blood. They tear down to build themselves up, they call evil good and good evil, and they do it smiling. They want you silent. Soft, tame and afraid to offend. Because someone who stays quiet is no threat.
And here is where most people get the light wrong. They think light is piety. That it means bowing your head, folding your hands and never raising your voice. But that is not light. That is fear playing holy. Light blinds. Light exposes. It reaches into every corner and forces what is hidden into the open.
God was not only gentle. He turned over tables. He called hypocrites snakes. He told the truth until it hurt, because love without truth is worth nothing.
So when the darkness ironically says - "what a good Christian you are" - because I call out b*llshit and meet my haters with exactly what they bring, they have misunderstood what faith is. I do not turn the other cheek so evil can run free. To love does not mean to let yourself be trampled.
An eye for an eye is not hate. It is justice. Come for me, and you get it back. Not out of revenge. But because the light does not lie down.
