To you who believed that what happens in Israel and Iran has no connection to us here in the West.
I have described before why that is both naive and an uninformed conviction. But if you only get your news from your mainstream media, I can understand why you know nothing about anything. Turn them off and let me tell you a bit about how the real world works.
The Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung dug into German case files. What they found is that Hamas has spent years building an apparatus in the middle of Europe. Hidden weapons and smuggling routes, and people sitting ready to get word from Lebanon.
German investigators believe it started as early as 2019. The trail leads to Denmark, Germany, Poland, Austria, Bulgaria, Britain, Greece and Cyprus.
A good number of handguns and an assault rifle may not sound like an army. But that is only what they have found. In Vienna there were also explosive devices, in Greece they found chemicals for making bombs, and investigators think more weapons may still be hidden near the German-Polish border.
It does not take many weapons to turn a synagogue or a crowd into a bloodbath.
The targets were Jewish, Israeli and American. Investigators believe the attack was planned around the second anniversary of October 7.
Arrests have already been made in several countries, and some have been convicted. We do, after all, have vigilant investigators. That is the only reason we know about this at all.
The cases are still moving through the courts. But while some are still debating whether this has anything to do with us, weapons have been sitting in European cities for years.
The war already has an address in the West. That is not up for debate. Stand up please!🪽
