God did not create the church as we know it

God did not create the church as we know it. There were no buildings and no offices. There were people who followed Jesus, and he said himself what it takes: where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them. Two or three. That is the whole requirement.

Jesus never said you had to go to church to believe. He talked with fishermen by a lake and with a woman at a well. He met people where they were.

You are welcome to go to church. I do that myself once in a while. To connect with like-minded people. To enjoy the music. To meet people from all over the world who have the same values as myself.

Many find peace there, and that is good. But it has no bearing on your faith. Your faith is private. It is only about your relationship with God, and that relationship does not need a middleman.

I have talked with people who believe that because they don't go to church, they can't be 'real Christians' and can't believe 'truly' in God.

It could not be more wrong.

I have seen people feel small because they didn't show up. I have seen others use church attendance as proof that they were better than their neighbor. God does not measure you by your seat on a pew. He knows your heart.

At home, God is present every day. He lives through me in every single breath. I have no need to share my experiences or my very private relationship with him with others. I want to share my surrender to Him, and the fact that I am openly a Christian.

Ever since I was a little girl, I had a relationship with him for many years. I talked with him. I saw him. Nobody told me to. God was not a 'subject' where I grew up. I was just connected from the beginning. It was not mystical or strange. Neither was I. It was completely free and natural.

Then I was torn away from him when I grew up. He tried to find me again several times, but I could not see him. Until I could again. Until I came home and remembered.

It was like a rebirth of my whole system and my upbringing. Like a daughter returning home to the arms of her beloved father. A reunion so powerful that the experiences are not of this world, and so they have no language.

It is something neither a church nor anyone else can create.

I believe that is important in the time we live in. Our foundation is being torn down in an attempt to make you surrender to the new faith called 'the state', while at the same time making yourself the highest principle. We know that both lead a human being astray. Just look at how many suffer without meaning and purpose in life.

No institution can give you God, and no one can take him from you.❤️‍🔥✝️

“IN THE BEGINNING GOD …created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” GENESIS 1:1–3
