Inclusion matters. But national belonging matters more

Inclusion matters. But national belonging matters more.

You have to guard the foundation you stand on. Otherwise it crumbles beneath you, until there is nothing left to stand on.

A people with no foundation disappears. And then others stand ready to take over. People who don't share it, don't love it, won't fight for it, but simply take what you let fall.

What makes a country and its flag distinct is not that it is multicultural. It is because the generations before us built something they believed in, and handed it down. A faith, a language, a history, a Christian ground to stand on, kept alive for centuries and paid for dearly along the way.

The Danish flag Dannebrog is not just a piece of cloth. It is everything someone sacrificed so that we could stand here today. And we are proud of it.

This post is not only about Denmark. The whole of the West stands on the same foundation. The same values, the same Christian heritage, the same freedom our forefathers fought for.

So be proud of your flag. Whether you are Danish, American, British or French. Guard your own, and let us stand together for what we share.

A people that forgets its foundation disappears. A West that remembers its own cannot be defeated.❤️‍🔥🪽✝️
