SASAN AZADVAR.
2004 - 2026.
He was 21 years old.
He was a karate champion. Gold medallist from Isfahan. A young man with his whole life ahead of him.
Yesterday morning, the Iranian regime hanged him.
His crime? He threw stones at a police vehicle during the January 2026 protests. He tried to set fire to it. He shouted freedom.
It cost him his life.
At least 43 others are still waiting to be executed - including two women and three teenagers who were under 18 years old when they were arrested.
His confession - the only documentation the regime presented - was obtained under torture. No independent evidence or fair trial. No future.
Just a gallows in Isfahan Central Prison in the early hours of the morning.
And the world sleeps.
The media stays silent. The politicians stay silent. The international community issues a condemnation here, a concern there - and then the trade, the diplomacy and the negotiations continue as if nothing has happened.
But something has happened.
A 21-year-old human being is dead for wanting the same thing as you and me.
Freedom.
Sasan - you were not alone. You are not forgotten. And the fight you gave your life for is not over.
It has only just begun.❤️🔥🪽
