THIS! So good I had to repost it by Nadav Peretz

The message is not only for Americans. But the western world.

To the young Americans filling my inbox with antisemitic abuse, hatred of Israel and hatred of Jews:

You are not rebellious. You are not enlightened. You are not “progressive.” You are painfully, embarrassingly ignorant.

Before you lecture Jews, perhaps learn something about the country in which you live and the people you so casually demonize.

The blue jeans you wear became an American icon through Levi Strauss.

Google was co-founded by Sergey Brin. Facebook and Instagram were built under Mark Zuckerberg. Dell was founded by Michael Dell. Intel was shaped by Andy Grove. Oracle was co-founded by Larry Ellison. Qualcomm was co-founded by Irwin Jacobs. WhatsApp was co-founded by Jan Koum.

Superman was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Batman was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Hulk, Iron Man and countless other heroes were shaped by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and other Jewish creators.

Hollywood itself was largely built by Jewish immigrants and their children. Paramount by Adolph Zukor and Jesse Lasky. Warner Bros. by the Warner brothers. Universal by Carl Laemmle. Columbia by Harry and Jack Cohn. MGM through Marcus Loew, Samuel Goldwyn and Louis B. Mayer.

Steven Spielberg, Stanley Kubrick, Mel Brooks, Billy Wilder, Barbra Streisand, Harrison Ford, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, Jake Gyllenhaal, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David, Mila Kunis, Paul Rudd, Sarah Silverman and countless other Jewish artists helped shape American entertainment.

“Seinfeld” was created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David. “Friends” was co-created by Marta Kauffman and David Crane. Much of the television, comedy, music and cinema you consume every day carries the fingerprints of Jewish writers, producers, actors and directors.

Even some of America’s most beloved Christmas music was written by Jews. Irving Berlin wrote “White Christmas.” Johnny Marks wrote “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “A Holly Jolly Christmas.” Mel Tormé and Robert Wells wrote “The Christmas Song.”

In science and medicine, Albert Einstein transformed our understanding of the universe. Jonas Salk and Albert Sabin developed the vaccines that helped defeat polio. Gertrude Elion revolutionized drug development and helped create treatments for leukemia, infections and other diseases. Baruch Blumberg discovered the hepatitis B virus and helped develop its vaccine. Richard Feynman transformed modern physics. Carl Sagan brought science and the universe into millions of American homes.

In human and civil rights, Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel marched beside Martin Luther King Jr. Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner risked everything while fighting for Black voting rights in Mississippi. Louis Brandeis became the first Jewish justice on the United States Supreme Court. Ruth Bader Ginsburg transformed the legal fight for equality. Harvey Milk became a symbol of courage for LGBTQ people. Lillian Wald pioneered public health nursing and fought for the poor, immigrants, women and children.

In American music, George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein, Irving Berlin, Bob Dylan, Carole King, Paul Simon and so many others helped create the soundtrack of the country you call home.

In sport, Sandy Koufax, Mark Spitz and Aly Raisman became American legends.

Bloomingdale’s was founded by the Jewish Bloomingdale brothers. Macy’s was not founded by Jews, but it was transformed into an American institution under the Jewish Straus family.

This is only a tiny fraction of the story. But let me be absolutely clear: Jews should not have to produce vaccines, build companies, create superheroes, write your favorite songs, fight for your civil rights or entertain you in order to earn the right to exist without hatred.

Human dignity is not a reward for achievement.

I mention these names only to expose the staggering ignorance behind your antisemitism. You use technology built by Jews to send hatred to Jews. You consume Jewish creativity, benefit from Jewish science, enjoy freedoms Jewish activists helped defend and then repeat ancient conspiracy theories as if you have discovered some profound truth on TikTok.

You have discovered nothing.

You have simply inherited one of the oldest and ugliest forms of hatred in human history and repackaged it as activism.

So before sending me your next antisemitic message, close TikTok. Open a history book. Learn something about America. Learn something about Jews. Learn something about Israel.

And then ask yourself how your education failed you so completely that hatred became easier than knowledge.

You should be ashamed. Not because you criticized a government, but because you allowed ignorance to turn you into exactly the kind of person history repeatedly warned us about.

I hope at least some of this managed to enter your head.

As for me, I’m heading to the beautiful beach in Tel Aviv, the first modern Hebrew city and one of the world’s great centers of innovation, where many of the technologies and applications you use every hour were developed.

You can keep spreading hatred from behind your screen. We will keep living, building, creating and thriving.

Have a wonderful day. I certainly intend to ☀️🇮🇱💙
